Looking out at a view like this from on top of Cradle Mountain reminds me of a passage found in Psalms 24:

"The earth is the LORD'S, and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein. For he hath founded it upon the seas, and established it upon the floods. Who shall ascend into the hill of the LORD? or who shall stand in his holy place? He that hath clean hands, and a pure heart; who hath not lifted up his soul unto vanity, nor sworn deceitfully. He shall receive the blessing from the LORD, and righteousness from the God of his salvation."

Everything belongs to God. Everything is His. He is ultimately in control, "and we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose" (Rom 8:28). 

Climbing to the top of mountains is not always easy. There are rocks to climb around and over, crevices to jump across, and a height to obtain; yet the result of seeing more of God's handiwork is worth all the effort! So in life: trials come - perplexities, disappointments - yet there is a joy that follows, lessons learnt, character revealed, new scenery enjoyed; because He is in control!
