On Sabbath, Dec 26 - our group travelled 100km south to the town of Casino: Population approximately 10,000. We had previously contacted Casino's local pastor and offered to take Sabbath School and the divine service. Canvassing Highlights (week 3-5)

Wow! What an amazing three weeks. God has blessed abundantly--more than we could ever ask or think! On Christmas Eve we headed down to Casino for our final day of canvassing for that week. We did a book count at the end of the day and 125 magabooks had been left with people! Our highest day of the program so far! God is good. A cat rescue is yet another thing to add the list of canvassing adventures :)  A couple of days ago, Shanna and Kasey met a lady and her granddaughter who had just come back from a small park, all upset and flustered because their cat had climbed a tree and they couldn't get it down. We're now almost two weeks into the canvassing program, and have had many wonderful experiences! A total of 294 magabooks, and 665 Happiness for Life (Steps to Christ) have been left on donation basis, or given to folks around the Tweed / Kingscliff area so far. We Are Nearing Home!

Yes, we are nearing home! In less than one week we will be back at Eastward, checking the Pecan orchard, catching up with the team, and enjoying a consistent place to sleep. Recreation in Nature!

On Sunday and Monday this week, we had the most blessed time hiking in Carnarvon Gorge National Park! Well... sore muscles, scratches and bruises too, but well worth it! We stuck to the main track the first day, and walked to the end (The Big Bend) and back (about 20+ kms).  The second day was the most adventurous!
